§ 6.03. Voter registration.

  • (a)

    The city does hereby recognize and adopt the permanent single registration system for the registration of electors established by Section 97.105, Florida Statutes. Individuals residing within the corporate limits of the city otherwise qualified and registered to vote in accordance with Sections 97.041 through 97.105, Florida Statutes, are the electors of the city.

    (b)

    No individual residing within the corporate limits of the city registering to vote less than thirty (30) days prior to any election shall be permitted to vote in that election.

    (c)

    Any registered elector of the city may be removed from the registration records pursuant to Section 98.081, Florida Statutes.
